This initiative will involve a free on-site visit to schools in Ontario and include opportunities for students to learn about healthy eating for well-being in a hands-on, interactive way. One possible method of delivering this program is a mobile kitchen/classroom, staffed and resourced. We are seeking input from Ontario teachers, principals and board of education consultants on their interest and capacity to take part in this initiative.
If you are a board of education consultant, principal or teacher of grades K-8 in an Ontario school, we invite you to participate in a short survey regarding the initiative.
Please complete the short survey no later than June 12, 2017. By completing the survey, you are eligible to be entered into a draw to WIN 1 OF 10 $100 VISA® GIFT CARDS to use towards food-related initiatives at your school.* (View the contest rules & regulations)
The purpose of this survey is to get information on new and innovative ways to provide food literacy education to Ontario students.
Do you know any teachers, principals or board of education consultants who might be interested in completing the survey? Please feel free to forward the survey to them.
